During the work out: How do you feel?
I woke up not wanting to work out since I pigged out yesterday, so I was COMPLETELY dwelling it. I looked at the workout sheet and read what I had to do today...All I read was "Pulse" so immediately I thought, "crap this is gonna be intense. Damn it!"
Welp, I put on the workout and the first thing I heard was that it was a recovery workout. Woop Woop! (happy dance on repeat) Heck yes!! So, apparently it’s not a real intense-hard workout. It's meant to recover from the grueling week I just had.
The workout was pretty easy. It was a lot of stretching and low impact exercises like squats and lunges. We did a few different ab exercises like plants and sit up. This was the toughest for me. I guess I never really realized how much trauma your body goes through when developing and carrying a life. I realized that your ab muscles kind of detach and you loose a lot of strength, but goodness gracious, I had ZERO ab strength. I could barely get off the floor doing the plank and when I did, I was back down on the ground after like 3 seconds.
This will definitely be a challenge in the future, but a welcome challenge.
With that said, the work out wasn’t too bad. Oh and did I mention that it was only 20 minutes! Score!
After the work out: How do you feel?
I was happy it was over as soon as it began! Hahaha. I have a ton of stuff I need to get done today, so I was very very happy that it was only 20 minutes long. I guess the universe really does have my back (winking)!
