During the work out: How do you feel?
Woke up feeling pretty good actually. Emotionally, I was good. Physically, I was sore, but my calves weren't on fire anymore. So that’s a plus.
The work out was still tough (duh it is called Insanity for a reason) and I stopped 2000 times verses 3000 like in previous post. I guess that means my endurance is a bit better.
As the 12 minute window approached, here’s what was going on inside my head.
What the hell?
This sh*t sucks!
These damn sweat beads are burning the ish out of my eyes.
F*ck my knees burn!
Damn rug burn, who has carpet in their house?!
Why didn't I just invest in a yoga mat?!
I getting a yoga mat. Eff the price!
Then finally at the last few minutes of the work out I'm like YES! I’m about to be done! Hell yes!
Then it was over. As quickly as it started…it was over. That’s the good thing about Insanity Max 30. It’s literally only 30 minutes. Sure you only get like 1 water break, but I mean it is only 30 minutes. Overall, this work out was so much better than the last few days. It just confirms that when you are in the proper head space, it will directly translate to your physical place.

Oh and baby Xan was cooperating this morning, so she just chilled and watched me attempt to get healthy. LOL
After the work out: How do you feel?
I felt good. I was a hot, sweaty, stinky mess…but overall was good. Much better working out in the mornings because I’ve learned that I’ll put forth an effort into making better eating choices throughout the day.
I will be patiently for the day where I wake up excited to workout. But until then, make love not war. LOL.
