During the work out: How do you feel?
So I missed working out in the morning, which was a bad idea. It was an emotionally draining morning for me. Again, hormones are a beast right now (amongst other things). So, instead of working out, I ate a bunch of junk. Well not a bunch, but I definitely had my Doritos.
So now that I finally did the workout…lets just say Doritos and working out do NOT go together.
The work out was horrible. I was beyond drained before I even started. Then 10 minutes in, the baby starts crying. So, I had to modify once again. I guess it’s good and bad that I have to modify with her. I mean, it blows that I cant do the workout like Shaun T. and his peeps, but at the same time…I am getting about 15 lbs of extra weight added to the exercise. So, we’ll just say that makes up for not doing it exactly like them.
Once I had the baby, it actually made time go by faster because on top of working out, I was trying to keep her entertained long enough so I could actually finish. So win for me!
After the work out: How do you feel?
First thing I said was, “That’s it I’m done (looking at baby girl). Were done. We did it.” Yes, at least I finished. More importantly, at least I even did it. I honestly thought about skipping today and “making up” for it on Sunday since that is the “rest” day where I don't have to workout. But lets be real, I know daaaaang well I would NOT have made it up. I would've chalked it up for a loss. LOL
With that said…Im starving, tiered, drained and sore.
Bring on the food!
